Un-Freaking Believable

A couple of news stories I feel compelled to share with you:

A judge, let me repeat that, A JUDGE, in Charles County was annoyed by someone who continued to park in a space that was convenient to them but not approved. Apparently, there had been notes left on this car but these were ignored. The annoyance escalated to the point that this judge took it upon himself to let all of the air out of the tires to make his point, AND he admitted it.

It turns out that the person who was parking illegally was a cleaning lady who did not finish work until after dark and wanted her car very near the entrance for safety reasons. Hmmmm. I can't wait to read an update on this one.

Yesterday I read about a woman who had recently moved in with her daughter because her house had just been foreclosed. There was a break-in at the daughter's home and much of Mom's belongings were taken. Mom and daughter were walking back home from a neighbor's after filing the police report intending to start listing the items that had been taken when they paused at another neighbor's yard sale because they recognized MOM'S STUFF being sold at the yard sale!

They continued home and called the police who arrested the neighbor after searching the home and finding $75,000. worth of stolen property.

Unbelievable on BOTH accounts! We have a long way to go with humanity these days, don't we??

I'll bet the judge gets off--judges and cops (well, every political figure too) are above the law. Makes me sick.

Wow - those people need to be arrested for pure stupidity alone. GUILTY of "Failure to act like a human being" Of course there are far too many people guilty of that I supposed - talk about prison over-crowding.

I used to work for a judge so that does not surprise me at all. He was out for numero uno, and no one else. Hell have no fury like a judge who loses his parking spot.

Seriously, he didn't care what happened to employees or their safety so long as he got what he wanted. He forgot we were tax payers and thus voters, too. For instance, scented stuff makes my throat swell shut. He decided he had to have his door waxed with the worst smelling spray wax on the planet. My throat would swell within five minutes of it being sprayed. I told him. He didn't care. He had them come back again and again so his door could be shiny. Thus I went home once a week so I wouldn't die.

Nothing judges do surprises me anymore.

Absolutely unbelievable. I hope the Judge publicly apologized to the woman. She should be allowed to park in his spot from now on.

As for the neighbor, all I can say is "not too bright". I hope the neighbor spends a good deal of time in jail for all the trouble he/she caused.

No arguing these points!! Some people just amaze me. How numb can one get?

I think it must be like the great white shark mystery. We only know for sure each time they find one that's bigger than the last biggest recorded!!

Great post-Happy weekend!!

People are crazy.

Thanks for stopping by my blog and commenting. I agree it is nuts, and now he has decided to go ahead and have the ponies and she doesn't understand why I don't want to bring my four year old to the party and expose her to the extravagance.

I do not understand what is wrong with the gene pool of the human species. Is it just me because it seems like humans are getting stupider and stupider all the time?

I wish there was an extra penalty levied against criminals for the severity of the stupidity involved.
