Christmas Blog Hop!

For the last few years, decorating the tree has become so much fun. My Buggy girl is always around to help and she loves it. Her Aunt Jenn usually pops in to join in as well. This year, Buggy (because she is 5 years old now you know) pretty much supervised all of us, handing out jobs to each of us.
She first brought the tree upstairs, Poppy helped a bit with that. Then she tested each of the boards that the tree base rests on by doing a little karate kicking. She put the tree together and fluffed all of the branches. And the decorating began! She really felt like she had to place each of the ornaments and ribbons or at least tell Aunt Jenn where to place them.
I haven't rearranged anything yet, as I normally do, I might leave it as is. What do you think? It makes me smile every time I look at it.

I always got a kick out of that too. There's just something special about the way a child does it.

Your tree is beautiful! :)

So cute! I love how carefree and special the tree is. I would totally leave it as it. In a few years you'll look back fondly when she's too cool to help decorate.

Well, I think she did a lovely job and I'm sure she is so proud of herself for arranging the whole thing, she sounds very organized.

I definitely think you should leave that tree just like it is. It will keep you smiling all through the holidays. I think she did a good job.

I think you should leave it---I know she must be so excited & proud of herself!!!

Whose shoes is she wearing. As to re-arrange - would you hurt her feelings? You don't want to do that...

What a beautiful tree!

I think I'd be tempted to leave it as is! Little Buggy's feeling could get hurt if you rearrange and I think it's looking pretty good! Merry Christmas!

I'd definitely leave it and just be happy Buggy did it so I didn't have to! Certainly not worth hurting her feelings over. It looks fine--it has a uniqueness about it.

Don't knock the help or they won't do it anymore. Heck, I'd leave it just the way it is. :)

I think it looks stunning. I used to have a decorator (a.k.a. the kids) do mine and it always looked just like that.
I just want to know why my tree box is at your house? I know it's mine because of the duct tape wrapped around it...lol

The tree looks FABULOUS!!!

Just wanted to stop by and tell you thank you for participating in the Decorating for the Holidays Blog Hop!

I'm one of those people who wants the colors to be balanced throughout the tree. I do one color like red balls before moving on to gold or purple or whatever so theoretically the tree could make me nuts. However, if I had kids, I would probably say leave it as is because the kids put so much effort into it.

So verdict: leave it for your daughter's sake, especially since it makes you smile, and, if you really want a more organized tree, decorate a tiny, table top tree for your bedroom or the kitchen or somewhere where your daughter won't get offended.
